Will the price of my existing plan remain the same despite the price update?

Yes, we are committed to ensuring existing customers remain on the same plan they signed up for. Existing plans will be honoured and grandfathered.

What is the payment system for my workspace?
You can manage your workspace payment at cloud.rocket.chat, payments can be done through debit or credit card. On a monthly basis your workspace will be charged automatically.

How do I pay for Rocket.Chat Self-Managed?

Admins can add payment details in their admin panel. To continue with a Self-Managed plan once the trial ends, admins must add their payment details in the admin panel.

Accepted payment methods: Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover/Diner’s Club credit & debit cards.
All plans are billed on a monthly basis. Users on a trial will be billed once their trial is over if they have added their payment details.
If your account has correct billing information and has not been closed, your first billing period will begin the day after your trial ends.

What is SLA and what are the different levels of issue response times?

Critical Business Impact A critical issue occurring on Rocket.Chat that prevents business operations from occurring or a large number of users are prevented from working with no procedural workaround. Example: data loss or corruption; system crashes; critical functionality not available; large number of users can’t work.
Normal Business Impact An issue causing a partial or non-critical loss of functionality on a production system. A small number of users are affected. Example: some systems functions are not available; small number of users impacted; minor performance problems;
Minimal Business Impact Issue occurring on non-production system or question, comment, feature request, documentation issue or other non-impacting issue. Example: product questions.

SaaS Pricing Plans have changed. Will the price of my existing plan remain the same despite the price update?

Due to constant investment and improvements on our product, we won’t be able to continue supporting clients using old versions of our Cloud service, with plans called «Small,” «Medium,» and «Large.” Those plans were made with the best technology we had at the time. We’ve already been contacting all clients with those plans and offering special conditions and commercial flexibility for those customers to migrate to some of our new plans. If you haven’t been contacted yet or if you have any doubts, feel free to reach us at sales@rocket.chat

How does the licensing key work?

After acquiring the enterprise license, a server specific license key will be generated. Once the license is added to the customer service, it will unlock the benefits of the respective license that was acquired. The license key has an expiration date agreed on the purchase and needs to be renewed to keep working.

How I add the enterprise license to my server?

To deploy the Rocket.Chat Enterprise, you must use the latest version of docker image. If you have a previous deployment using our community version just replace the old image with this one, all other settings are still valid. To apply the license, simply run the container setting the ROCKETCHAT_LICENSE environment variable. Keep in mind that it will be possible to see in the logs when the license had been successfully validated.

It will be possible to see in the logs when the license had been successfully validated. Also, you can see that when you click on the admin menu, new options will appear, such as Messaging Audit and Messaging Audit Log.

How do I pay for Cloud?

Cloud admins can add payment details and manage their account in the Rocket.Chat Cloud Console.
To continue with Cloud once the trial ends, users must add their payment details in the Console.

Billing periods vary depending on the chosen plan. Annual plans are paid for 1 year up front, while monthly plans are billed on a monthly basis. Users on a trial will be billed once their trial is over if they have added their payment details.
