👩🏻💻 Omnichannel Customer Engagement
Omnichannel Analytics Improvements
To increase data accuracy within Omnichannel reports, we’ve improved how data is shown, which means users can now display their dashboard data in their local timezone or UTC in real-time.
Queue Management Improvements (Enterprise Edition)
Great news for the customers asking for this feature: now, admins can set rules to auto-close queued chats after a certain period of inactivity.
By doing so, companies can reduce their support workload and ensure the Analytics will be more accurate, including important agent metrics such as Waiting Time and Response Time.
To set your Maximum Queue Wait Time, and personalize messages to users on a queue, simply go to Rocket.Chat ➞ Omnichannel ➞ Queue Management.
📲 Marketplace Updates
New App Submission Flow
Within the first weeks of September, app developers can only submit new apps through the Publisher Portal. The app submission form has new fields created to allow publishers to provide more information about their apps, such as app description, supported languages, screenshots, and privacy policy summary.
Please note that you can send it through CLI (command-line interface) when you submit an app, but it will be saved as a “draft” until you fill out all mandatory fields.
